Trump draws massive crowds in California as thousands line the streets to support him.

President Trump greets supporters at the airport. Patch.

President Trump drew massive crowds in California as thousands line the streets to support him as he traveled to a fundraiser in Newport Beach. Patch.com. He was greeted by hundreds as he left Air Force One at John Wayne Airport and thousands more waved to him as he drove by in his motorcade. A half dozen Biden supporters also showed up as well as many Armenian Americans, some Trump supporters themselves, that were demanding action in the Armenia/Azerbaijan conflict. The fundraiser was hosted by Palmer Luckey, a tech guru that used to work for Facebook and sold his company Oculus to Facebook.

My Comment:

Watch the video in the above tweet, it's amazing how many people showed up. I know that Orange County is one of the more red counties in California but even for that, it's amazing that so many people were out to support the President.

The President has not campaigned in California for obvious reasons. The state is not in danger of flipping red anytime soon and though there are major pockets of GOP support, the state is mostly blue. Even turnout like this won't be able to outperform the massive blue wall in California.

So why do this event? Well, fundraising is important. Thanks to the Black Lives Matter scam that funneled millions of dollars that was supposed to go to black people to the Democrats, Biden has gotten quite a bit of money. A major fundraising event like that will cut that advantage.

More importantly, doing so will bolster President Trump's chances to take back at least some of the seven districts the GOP lost in 2018. Almost all of those districts are in play and would go a long way to taking back the house from the Democrats. A small visit like this will increase voter enthusiasm, which is high already, and help drive GOP turnout.

And by driving out the vote in California it's possible that the President could win the popular vote. Normally GOP voters living in blue districts have little reason to vote in elections as their votes will not count. But if they realize that they could help the President win the popular vote they might end up doing so. Winning the popular vote, which is certainly possible, would help legitimize the Presidency and give President Trump a mandate for his 2nd term.

This kind of turnout in California, of all places, shows me that the media narrative is most likely a lie. I don't buy the polls at all when we see this kind of enthusiasm in a blue state. Everywhere President Trump goes he has huge crowds of every happy people who say they will crawl through glass to vote for him. And Joe Biden? Even before the Hunter Biden scandal he was drawing crowds in the double digits. Someone is completely delusional this election and I would be very surprised if it was President Trump's supporters.
