Ukraine whistle blower worked with Joe Biden when he was Vice President. Washington Examiner. It was already known that the whistle blower was a CIA agent and that they had a "professional tie" to one of the 2020 Democratic candidates. Two CIA sources said that the source worked with Biden and likely accompanied Biden during his trips to Ukraine. The CIA agent was assigned to the White House and served under the National Security Council. 

My Comment:

This report, if true, would completely destroy the impeachment narrative. If the whistle blower had political bias then the chances of this being a political hit job, already extremely high, would be close to 100%. 

However, it is important to note that none of the Washington Examiner's sources are willing to go on the record to say what they have said. That something that always increases the chances of a story being false. There is a chance that at least part of this story is false.

That being said, we do know that the Intelligence Community Inspector General said the whistle blower had bias and other sources have said he worked with one of the 2020 candidates. Biden is the most likely suspect regardless since as a Vice President he would have the most ties to the CIA. I mean, it could be one of the running senators as well but Biden is the most likely.

Given this scandal is essentially about Joe Biden in the first place it makes sense that the whistle blower would be trying to defend him. His hearsay about President Trump's phone call with Zelensky was designed to damage the President and it probably would have worked if Trump hadn't released the transcript, which, under normal circumstances, would have destroyed the scandal in the first place. 

Indeed, it's very strange that this scandal is going on. First of all, the transcript proved that there was no quid pro quo. President Zelensky also confirmed that there was no quid pro quo and recent reports confirm that the investigation into Joe and Hunter Biden was reopened in February, long before this phone call.

Though most people are ignorant of these facts due to media bias, it does seem confusing that the Democrats are still running with impeachment. It makes zero sense as they have no chance of convicting in the Senate and will likely pay a high political price for this. 

So why are they doing it? Probably to blunt the impact of upcoming investigations. The FISA report is likely coming soon and the Durham report is waiting in the wings. Both of these reports are likely to be devastating to the Democrats so impeachment is about all they can do...
