Biden puts his foot in his mouth again, jokes about going to war with Russia...

Joe Biden speaks at an event for North America's Building Trade Union. Fox News/AP

Biden jokes about going to war with Russia at an Union event. Fox News. Biden told the Union workers that "If I gotta go to war, I'm going with you guys.", right after talking about the war in Ukraine. Biden's comments are at odds with his governments position on war with Russia. They have repeatedly said that war with Russia is not an option and that no ground troops will be deployed to Ukraine. Such moves would likely result in World War III and a nuclear exchange.

My Comment:

Biden should not be allowed to speak in public. He might claim that these comments were a joke, but the Russians will not see it that way. Russia and Putin are already convinced that Biden wants to overthrow Putin and go to war with Russia. This is just more evidence in their minds that war might be coming regardless and may justify a first strike.

The sad thing is I don't know if Biden really is joking. This might be another case of Biden saying the quiet part out loud again. It seems pretty clear that Biden does want Putin to be overthrown and he is throwing all kinds of accusations against him. Calling him a war criminal, saying that he shouldn't allowed to be in power and so on.

Of course Americans will have very little choice in the matter. The media desperately didn't want to talk about foreign policy during the election, since it was a major advantage for President Trump. So the idea of going to war with Russia was never voted on. Even I underestimated the threat even though one of the main reasons I voted for Trump over Clinton in 2016 was the fact that I knew Clinton wanted war with Russia. Why would Biden be any different?

What is shocking to me is that people actually cheered Biden's comment there. Are they insane? Do they know what a war with Russia would imply? Russia's military hasn't exactly impressed in Ukraine but their nuclear forces are vast and they have nuclear submarines posted by our coasts. Even if America would "win" a war with Russia, many of our cities would be destroyed, our military would be crippled and our economy would be non-existent. Not to mention the millions of deaths. I know that the union group was a captive audience but you would think even there these comments would raise an eyebrow.

Is this another example of Biden being senile? I am not sure. He seemed more coherent than usual during his speech, so this might not have been an off the cuff comment. If so that's probably even scarier than him accidently spouting off. It shows that his entire staff is completely out of touch and don't mind risking war for a joke.

Finally, here's some original content that I made up a while back but is pretty accurate to this post:
