Form surfaces that shows Elizabeth Warren falsely claimed to be an American Indian on a State Bar of Texas form

A form from the State Bar of Texas shows that presidential candidate and US Senator, Elizabeth Warren, falsely claimed that she was an American Indian. USA Today. The form was found by the Washington Post and has been confirmed to be legitimate. The form also has her own handwriting and proves that she falsely claimed to be a Native American. Warren has been harshly criticized for claiming Native American heritage to unfairly gain an advantage over others by taking advantage of affirmative action programs. Recently Warren claimed that a DNA test proved that she had American Indian DNA, but the test showed that she had smaller amounts than most white Americans.

My Comment:
I am honestly surprised that Warren hasn't dropped out of the 2020 race. With the release of this document it's been conclusively proven that Warren lied about her heritage. It's not a debate anymore and it's clear that she benefited from her lie. Being a white woman who lied about who she is in order to take advantage of diversity and affirmative action programs is pretty terrible. 

Warren will likely be crushed by these accusations. President Trump, who famously nicknamed her Pocahontas, would easily win against her on this issue alone. But to even get to that point she would have to survive all the other candidates in the 2020 Democratic field. You can't tell me that at least one of them won't call her out on this.

Warren's apologies probably won't do much. I don't think that many American Indian groups actually care that much but the Democratic Party doesn't tolerate even the appearance of racism. Their coalition is fragile enough as it is and they can't afford to alienate the "woke" wing of their party. Those people are the most likely to balk over something like this and would ensure another term of President Trump.

Which makes me wonder if this release was done for more nefarious reasons. I don't think it's a coincidence that this story first appeared in the Washington Post. The Post is famously biased for the Democrats and many of their stories are an official representation of their views. It seems pretty obvious that someone wants Warren's campaign to end.

My guess is that one of two things happened, though neither option is mutually exclusive. The first is that the Democratic Party doesn't think she can beat Donald Trump. There's quite a bit of evidence for that since she is very similar to Hillary Clinton. Like Clinton, Warren is an older white woman who has a huge scandal over her head. Warren is dramatically more likable than Clinton but that's not saying much considering almost anyone is. It's very possible that the Party thinks that it's worth screwing Warren over so they have their best chance to beat President Trump.

It's important to note that they tried to do this to Hillary Clinton back in 2015. The New York Times was extremely critical of Clinton to the point where they released several major reports on her. All of that changed once the Democrats decided that she was going to be the candidate.

And that's the other possibility here. It might not be that they think Warren is just a dud as a candidate, or that's only a secondary concern. They may just want someone else. The Democrats famously screwed over Bernie Sanders during the primaries largely because they had already decided on Clinton. It's possible that the Democrats have done the same thing for 2020. Who that would be is still an open question. It's probably going to be Kamala Harris, but I could see yet another run from Hillary Clinton, even though John Podesta said she isn't running.

Given the fact that another 2020 candidate is getting tarred right now, it makes me think that the party has decided on someone. Hilariously, Tulsi Gabbard was accused of being supported by Russian bots by NBC News. It's obvious fake news, as all claims of Russian bots are, but it tells me that Gabbard is in the same doghouse that Elizabeth Warren now finds herself in...
