Gilets Jaunes/Yellow Jackets protests spread to Canada.

Yellow Jackets protesters in Edmonton Canada. CBC.

The Gilets Jaunes/Yellow Jackets protests have now spread to Canada. CBC. Protesters condemned Canadian Prime Minster Justin Trudeau and his carbon taxes. The protesters were mostly focused in Alberta and also condemned the UN's migration pact, which every UN member besides the United States signed. More protests are planned in Canada after this weekends protests. Unlike the protests in France the protests in Canada were completely peaceful.

My Comment:
I don't have time to give this story the coverage it deserves but I really wanted to make sure that everyone knows that the Yellow Jackets protest has gone beyond Europe. It has now spread to the rural parts of Canada. The complaints are pretty much the same. Canada has its own problems with fuel taxes and people are sick of Prime Minster Justin Trudeau.

I did watch the livestreams on Saturday for France but I hadn't heard anything about the protests in Canada. Of course our media in general is out to lunch but that is nothing new. There was some local coverage but of course the CBC was biased against the protesters, claiming they want violence and that they are linked to white supremacists. It's all so tiresome.

I do think it is only a matter of time before we have similar protests in the United States. Though we mostly don't have the crippling gas taxes Europe and Canada have we do have similar problems with high taxes and immigration that those areas have. And the gas taxes in some states, especially California, are probably worth protesting.

Time will tell if the Gilets Jaunes protests end up accomplishing their goal. At the very least it has shown that there is global resistance to the idea of carbon taxes and that the gulf between the elite and upper classes and the middle and working classes is becoming huge. I would be happy if both globalist leaders of France and Canada were forced to resign due to widespread rejection of their rule.
