Biden Administration admits that there will be more work done on President Trump's border wall.

The Biden Administration has admitted that there will be more work done on President Trump's border wall. New York Post. At a meeting for Immigration and Custom Enforcement Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said that parts of the wall would be finished despite the emergency declaration being pulled by Joe Biden. This would include areas that need renovation, closing gaps and adding new technology to completed parts of the wall. President Trump praised the move. Joe Biden and the Democrats have caused a crisis on the border with a welcoming attitude towards migrants and has been criticized by Mexico's President.

My Comment:

This story broke a couple of days ago but was largely ignored by the national news media. Only conservative outlets like the New York Post or foreign outlets like RT covered the story. Indeed, the crisis at the border has mostly been ignored by the media despite it being a huge issue that was not a problem during the last couple of years of the Trump Presidency.

But it seems pretty clear that Biden knows he screwed up. He has been getting some criticism for the border crisis with even a few liberals angry with what he has done. Mexico is furious with us because we ensured that they would have a migrant crisis as well as the migrants are mostly not from Mexico but are from Central American.

Still, it's a huge reversal from what the Democrats were saying pre-election day. In the past the Democrats called the Wall a racist boondoggle, a total waste of money. The idea that they would now support building limited sections of the wall is basically admitting that President Trump and his supporters were right about the wall and the immigration crisis. That's another reason why the media is not covering this story widely.

Biden's policy here has been a disaster. Not only have the number of immigrants exploded at a time when the country is in an economic crisis, he has had to face the same criticism that President Trump got for kids in cages. And unlike Trump it doesn't seem like he has a real plan to fix things either.

That being said, though more construction on the border wall will be helpful, it won't solve the crisis. The people coming to the country are coming because the Biden has told them that they could come. And they allow these people to be processed in America instead of Mexico. Unless Biden actually gets tough and kicks these people out they will continue to come here.

Having the wall complete would be a good thing though. Not only would it stop illegal immigration, it would be a major message that illegal immigrants are not welcome. It might slow the wave of migrants trying to enter the country. I sincerely hope that Biden does expand this action until the wall is totally complete.

Even the limited actions that the Biden administration is going to do will help. It would prevent some illegal immigration and smuggling and might ease the border crisis a bit. But like I said before, it won't stop until either Biden is out of office or he further reverses his border policy.

The worst part of this is that President Trump had largely solved this problem. The wall was being built, migrants were either staying home or were staying in Mexico and the kids were no longer in cages. Biden reversed that all in just a couple of months and is now flailing around trying to find a solution. It's not a sign of strength to say the least.

  1. The lack of protests and screaming by liberals today shows they weren't concerned with the welfare of these kids under Trump. They were protesting against Trump because the media told them to. What a bunch of hypocrites.
