Angela Merkel seen shaking for the third time in a month. Undisclosed health problem?

Angela Merkel has been seen shaking uncontrollably for the third time in a month, raising concerns about her health. AP. Merkel was at a military event with Finish Prime Minster Antti Rinne listening to the German and Finish National Anthems when she began having tremors. It follows incidents on the 16th and 27th of June where she trembled under similar circumstances. Merkel blamed the first incident on exhaustion and dehydration due to the hot weather on the 16th, but in the next two incidents the weather was much cooler. Merkel claimed the other episodes were due to the stress caused by the first incident. Merkel said she was still capable of being Chancellor and will continue to serve until 2021. 

My Comment:

There is obviously something wrong with Angela Merkel and her explanations do not make any sense. It's certainly possible that she suffered from dehydration in the first event but after happening two more times I think something more serious is going on. 

I am, of course, not a doctor, but I wonder if she doesn't have Parkinson's or some other neurological disease. It seems very clear that she's not in control when these spells happen and she obviously has a huge incentive to not do this. What's happening is that despite her best efforts she can't control these attacks. 

The timing of this was pretty bad. Merkel was filmed during a military ceremony, when it is very important to portray strength. She was incapable of doing so...

Merkel has a good reason to not disclose any potential health problems. Merkel is under siege politically due to the massive migrant crisis that Germany is suffering through right now. She has a lot of enemies who would like her taken down. Admitting to a serious disorder could lead to calls for resignation. 

The whole situation reminds me of Hillary Clinton during the 2016 campaign. Clinton had long dismissed concerns about her health as a conspiracy theory, but those theories were proven at least partially correct when Clinton passed out on 9/11 and her handlers had to toss her into a van like a side of beef. It hurt her chances at political victory, so it's no wonder that Merkel appears to be hiding whatever is wrong with her. 

I am no fan of Angela Merkel but I do wish her the best. Nobody deserves to be sick and it's clear she's in a very difficult situation. It would probably be for the best if she just resigned but even if she doesn't, I hope she makes a full recovery from whatever she is suffering from.
