My predictions for the Democrats first debate tomorrow and some questions for the candidates that I don't think will be asked.

Tomorrow is the 1st debate for the Democrats and much like I did for the Republican debates I intend to live tweet the debate as well as write up a reaction to it. Much like the last debate, I doubt I will have reactions to the debate posted on the night of the debate. I just won't have enough time. I will be live tweeting my reactions though and the link to my twitter can be found here.

But this is not that post. This is my post for predictions to how this will go down. I'm a lot less confident in these predictions because unlike the Republican field, I don't know a whole lot about any of the candidates speaking. The only ones I am really familiar with is Clinton and Sanders. I know a little about Martin O'Malley, but not enough to really judge him. I know next to nothing about Jim Webb or Lincoln Chaffe.

I also have to say I am a lot more biased against the Democratic candidates then I am against the Republicans. I don't really hate anyone in the Republican field other then Chris Christie and I think he is still better then any of the Democrats. I also think that I will not agree with the vast majority of what these candidates will say. Just keep that in mind in case you are expecting something unbiased. I am not unbiased and though I will give credit where credit is due, don't expect much praise for these candidates. Anyways, onto the predictions:

-I expect Hillary Clinton to be a punching bag for most of the night. Her e-mail scandal is not going away, and the other candidates, except for Sanders, will hit her hard. 95%

-Bernie Sanders will stick with the issues and won't respond to attacks. That's just the kind of guy he is. 95%
-This will hurt Bernie Sanders. After all, everyone already thinks he is a wimp after Black Lives         Matter protesters took over one of his rally's. 75%

-Gun rights will play a much larger role then it did in the Republican debates. 99%

-Jim Webb is the only candidate that will say anything remotely in favor of said gun rights. 99%

-Bernie Sanders will be hit hard by Clinton, O'Malley and Chaffe over gun rights. He recently flip flopped on the issue (quite cowardly if you ask me) but was at one point at least kind of pro-gun. 80%

-All this talk about gun control will end up playing into the hands of Republicans and the NRA and will help them win the actual election. 55%

-If the NSA scandal comes up it will be one of the few things I will agree with the candidates on. 95%

-Joe Biden will not declare his candidacy until after the debate. 95%

-Clinton will be hit hard as a warmonger. 55%

-Clinton will not spend most of her time attacking Republicans. She is not in a strong enough position to attack them and she will have to attack her rivals instead. 75%

-After the debate one of the joke candidates like Chaffe, Webb or O'Malley will get a boost in the polls. This will be the first time most of the country will have seen any of them in action so this is inevitable unless they screw up horribly. 80%

-The ratings for this debate will be nowhere near the ratings for the Republican one. Without a strong personality like Trump, or the chance of fireworks between the candidates, people won't be nearly as interested. 99%

-Hillary Clinton will make some reference to a vast right wing conspiracy or misogyny to explain why she has taken a dip in the polls. 100%

And now for some questions that I would like to ask the candidates that I doubt the moderators would ask:

For all the candidates: It seems clear that none of your actions against gun rights would have stopped any of the recent mass shootings. Since you all know this, isn't your insistence that more gun control is a lie? Aren't you really just interested in a full gun confiscation? Or are you just trying to score political points by looking like you are doing something without actually doing something?

For Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton: You are both in your seventies and are there are concerns about your health. Aren't you both way too old to be president? Critically, who is your choice for Vice President since you are both rather likely to die during your presidency?

For Hillary Clinton: Is your husband a sexual predator? He has been accused dozens of time of sexual harassment and even rape. How does that jibe with your "feminist" credentials? Also, why should we trust you as a president if you can't even force your husband to keep it in his pants?

For Bernie Sanders: What is the difference between "Democratic Socialism" and Communism? Isn't your ideology just Communism lite?

For all the candidates: It's clear that Obama has been a terrible foreign policy president. Why should the American people trust another Democrat after Obama has failed so terribly? And why can't we use that argument against you if you have been using that same argument for every Republican ever since the Bush Presidency?

For all the candidates: It's clear that certain elements of the left have lost their minds on the internet. What is your stance on twitter mobs and public shamming? What about excessive political correctness? Won't electing one of you just ensure that this problem will get worse?

For all the candidates except Sanders: The popularity of Bernie Sanders, Carly Fiorina, Ben Carson and  Donald Trump shows that America is in favor of a political outsider and/or political populist. Why should they vote for an establishment candidate like you?

For Webb, Chafee and O'Malley: Why are you still in the race? Nobody has heard of you. Make your case or go away.

For all the candidates: Joe Biden is probably running at this point. Why shouldn't we elect him instead of any of you?

For all the candidates: Is Edward Snowden a hero or traitor? Do you support the NSA?

For all the candidates: Will there be any kind of criminal investigation for President Obama? Or for the non-Clinton candidates, will there be one for Hillary Clinton?

For all the candidates: What will you do about radical Islam? Not just ISIS, radical Islam itself.

Once again, I'll be live tweeting the debate, starting around 7:30 pm central.
