One suspect in Paris shooting in custody, two others on the run. CNN

The two suspects, Cherfif Kouachi (left) and Said Kouachi, still at large. CNN.

One suspect in the Paris shooting surrendered while two others are still at large. CNN. The two suspects at large are Cherif and Said Kouachi who are brothers. The third suspect, an 18 year old, has surrendered to the police. The two suspects are considered armed and extremely dangerous and are suspected to have at least some training. One suspect was known to U.S. intelligence agencies. Thousands of French citizens marched in support for the magazine targeted in the attack, Charlie Hebdo.

My Comment:
It sounds like the French are closing in on these two. Here is hoping they can be captured without further loss of life. The most disturbing part about this is that the managed to escaped. I can't remember one of these mass shooting events where the suspects even tried to get away, let alone succeeded at it for some time. If they aren't caught soon it may inspire other people, including non-Muslims, to use the same tactic. If that happens it will be a very bad thing. As tragic as these mass shootings are, when a suspect is killed or captured on scene at least the event is over. As long as these two suspects are on the run there is always a chance that they can regroup and strike again.

As far as Charlie Hebdo, Reuters has a gallery up showing some reactions from other cartoonists. It's worth taking a look at. If I had any artistic talent whatsoever I'd draw something as well. But, alas, I can't draw at all. This blog is all I got, so I'll use that instead. As I said before, there is never any excuse for killing someone over a cartoon. I know that Charlie Hebdo was one of the few news or entertainment outlets to show depictions of Muhammad. Most U.S. news networks and papers wimped out. Comedy Central wimped out as well when South Park wanted to show Muhammad. And now, I'm afraid that even more people will wimp out.
