Cease fire in Lebanon, militants to release prisoners. Yahoo/AFP

Lebanese fighters en route to Arsal. Yahoo/AFP

Islamic militants have agreed to leave the border town of Arsal in Lebanon. Yahoo/AFP The militants have agreed to release hostages and leave the city. The deal was negotiated by Sunni clerics. The cease fire could break down if either side starts the fighting again. Residents report that most of the Jihadists have fled the city. France and Saudi Arabia have decided to speed up a $3 billion arms deal in response to the conflict.

My Comment:
Something tells me that Lebanon would be better off wiping these fighters out. It seemed like the Lebanese army had the advantage, and even if this deal doesn't fall apart, these fighters will just show up elsewhere. The problem with ISIS is that everyone just assumes that it is someone else's problems. That is not true. It's everyone' problem. Which is why France and Saudi Arabia are fast tracking their arms deal.
