Boko Haram has kidnapped even more people in Nigeria. Yahoo/AFP

AFP

Boko Haram has kidnapped at least 100 men between the ages of 15 and 30 in Nigeria. -Yahoo/AFP The terrorist organization, seeking to create an Islamic State, killed others and may have kidnapped women and girls as well. There are fears that these men will be forced into fighting for the terrorists. Soldiers deployed to the area were able to rescue some of the kidnapping victims. These more recent abductions come after the kidnapping of 200 girls back in April.

My Comment:
Yet another battlefield in the global war against radical Islam. Boko Haram are not nice people, obviously, and I can't imagine being forced to join their organization. Considering the alternatives are death, slavery or forced marriage, it might be the best outcome. I remember quite a media stir when those girls were abducted but like most hashtag advocacy, the problem was eventually forgotten. The situation in Nigeria hasn't improved, it's just that so much has happened since then. ISIS is getting the headlines now, greatly overshadowing everything else in the world of radical Islam.
