89 dead in suicide bombing in Afghanistan. Yahoo/AP

Vehicle damaged in a seperate car bomb attack. Yahoo/AP

89 people dead in a suicide bombing in Afghanistan. -Yahoo/AP. The attack occurred in a small town called Urgun and also wounded more then 40 people. At least 20 shops and many vehicles were destroyed as well. A second attack (pictured above) killed 7 employees of the Presidential Palace.

My Comment:
Sigh. Just another day in Afghanistan. The bombing was particularly evil since there was no military/government presence in the market making the primary targets ordinary people. That's not really surprising in any way, just sad. It doesn't seem like the situation in Afghanistan is ever going to get better, especially with international troops leaving soon. It just proves that America is terrible at nation building.
